Cascade Resort takes a lead into LED technology

Cascade Resort has engaged the services of Arquiled, a fabricant of LED technology, to supply lighting requirements for its 5-star hotel in replacement of initial plans.

This new measure is in line with the sustainability and energy-efficiency principles of the hotel and resort and with this additional investment step, Cascade Resort will convert around 1000 conventional halogen 50watts of light technology into 1000 6watts LED technology.

The contract between Arquiled and Cascade Resort covers the conversion of the lighting for all of its public areas and furthermore, under current study is the possibility to incorporate this system in the Spa area and those of the resort’s exterior.

Introducing LED technology into the system will allow Cascade Resort to reduce its energy consumption by up to 9 times, thus reducing the resulting impact on the environment.
